Newport MUD continues to make steady progress on the Surface Water Treatment Plant Project.
Recent work includes installation of treatment equipment, underground utility improvements, piping installation, concrete placement, equipment pad construction, and water system infrastructure upgrades.

Work continues on system connections, final infrastructure improvements, and coordination with the San Jacinto River Authority (SJRA) for the new raw water intake system.
